Gill Taylor BSc (Hons), PGCE, MSc.

Gill, Director of Calyx, provides consulting and psychology services for individuals, groups and organisations. Gill has successfully provided these services across the UK for over two decades.

Gill is an Educational and Family Psychologist and works with children, families, schools and other professionals. Services provided include the assessment of individuals and groups, counselling, coaching, developing interventions and providing ongoing reviews and support. Gill is a registered Psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HPC).

Gill is an experienced senior manager and has worked at Strategic Lead and 2nd tier level within Children’s Services. Gill has led on the areas of Access and Inclusion, Behaviour and Attendance, Special Educational Needs, Children in Care and Integrated Service Delivery. She has managed an Educational Psychology Service, Behaviour Support Service and Education Welfare Service within local authorities.

Gill provides Organisational Consultancy to organisations within the public, private and voluntary sectors across the UK. Gill’s work includes supporting Senior Leadership Teams within Children’s Services in reviewing and developing services. Gill also provides coaching and counselling services for individuals and teams within organisations.

Gill works with leadership teams within schools and other settings in developing their inclusive policy and practice and their effective work with children and families. In the 1990s, she pioneered the Circles of Friends approach in UK schools to support the inclusion of challenging children.

Gill is an accredited Mediation Practitioner and provides mediation services for people in a range of settings; including community, family and workplace.
